Pediatric asthma clinics provide asthma education to children and their families who have difficulty controlling their symptoms and use excessive medications.
The Pediatric Asthma Clinics support target groups, including:
- people with asthma who having difficulty with control and or those using excessive medications
- people with moderate to severe asthma, as determined by the physician, who would benefit from education
- people with asthma with barriers to learning i.e., age, language, culture and people who are newly diagnosed with asthma
