Provided by Ruby Slipper & Black Boot Fund
Provides funds to support people affected by cancer on the Sunshine Coast.
The Ruby Slipper & Black Boot Fund provides funds to support people affected by cancer in the following ways:
- provide emergency funding after initial diagnosis
- provide funding for respite care for caregivers
- cost of medications and other patient needs not covered by insurance
- funding for expenses incurred from a cancer diagnosis which are not covered
- providing life necessities such as food, gas, etc.
To apply for assistance from the Ruby Slipper & Black Boot Fund please submit a completed application form as well as a letter summarizing your current situation. Please mail or scan/email completed applications.
Please note that you must be a Sunshine Coast resident (Langdale to Earls Cove) in order to receive assistance.
