Eating Disorders Program - Child and Youth - Richmond
Child Services, Mental Health - Child & Youth, and Youth Services
Provided by Ministry of Children and Family Development
Treatment may include:
- Individual and/or family counselling
- Medical monitoring
- Nutritional support
Aims to explore and enhance the unique strengths and abilities of clients and families in the pursuit of personal and health goals.
Consultation and education are also available to community agencies and professionals to promote awareness and early intervention.
The interdisciplinary team includes physicians, therapists, a registered dietitian and a nurse. Works in collaboration with family physicians and liaise with the Eating Disorders Programs at BC Children’s and St. Paul’s Hospitals.
Referral Instructions: A referral is required in order to access the program. Referrals are accepted by physicians or nurse practitioners. Fax referral form to Central Intake. (See form and fax number information below).
