Healthiest Babies Possible Program - For At Risk Pregnant Women

Healthiest Babies Possible (HBP) provides nutrition counselling, health education, food access and social support to pregnant women facing challenging life circumstances in Vancouver and Richmond
Prenatal outreach program to promote a healthy pregnancy for at-risk pregnant women ages 25 and up living in Vancouver.
Services offered include:
  • Nutrition counselling to support the health of the mother and growing baby;
  • food supplement and prenatal vitamins;
  • Nutrition counselling to support the health of the mother and growing baby
  • breastfeeding information;
  • food coupons;
  • labour and delivery information;
  • Dental health education and *dental hygiene referral (*Vancouver clients only);
  • community referrals;
  • education about smoking, alcohol, and drug concerns;
  • prenatal and parent/infant groups.
Home visits are available. Also partners with the Youth Pregnancy and Parenting Program (YPPP) offer youth-centred services and supports to clients age 24 years and younger.

Services and materials are offered in various languages; interpreters are also available. Self-referrals accepted.
