This B.C. Newcomers’ Guide will provide recent immigrants with the information their family needs to settle in B.C. quickly and easily.
Moving to a new country can be challenging. You likely have a number of questions that need to be answered right away. This B.C. Newcomers’ Guide will provide new immigrants with the information for their family to settle in B.C. quickly and easily. This will provide various answers to the challenges of adapting to life in B.C.

The guide information consists of:

- Finding a place to live, language services and resources to help you settle
- Using public transportation, registering your child in school and opening a bank account
- Applying for your BC Services card, finding medical services, and getting assistance for those needing extra support
