Services to Adults with Developmental Disabilities (STADD) - Navigation Support

The navigation support program helps you and your family plan and access services and supports as you move to adulthood.
A navigator is someone who acts as a single point of contact to help you with your planning. The program can help you:
  • Coordinating a plan that includes the individuals goals and decisions
  • Brings together a support team of people to work with you such as your family, trusted friends, teachers and employment counsellors
  • Serves as your single point of contact with government agencies and many community services
  • Gives clear, reliable information about services and supports
  • Explore opportunities to be involved in your community and develop new connections

In this program the individual works in partnership with a navigator. You share your goals, interests, and questions, and you can tell a navigator what supports you think would be helpful.

Eligibility:This service may be right for you if you:
  • Have a Developmental Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)
  • Are between 16 and 24 years old
  • Would like help planning for your future
