Food Bank and Soup Kitchen - Chilliwack

Provided by Salvation Army
Clients who wish to receive a food hamper are required to make an appointment through the Salvation Army Care and Share Centre to see an intake worker 24 hours before their desired appointment time. Initial food hamper appointments require clients to provide:
- Photo Identification
- birth certificate
- medical card
- proof of source of income
- rent confirmation
The Community Pantry: While hamper appointments require clients to book 24 hours in advance, the Salvation Army Food Bank also provides a daily food reclaim service that can be accessed. The Food Pantry provides an assortment of deli, bakery, dairy, produce, and frozen food items that anyone can access daily,
Soup Kitchen: The Salvation Army Soup Kitchen provides lunch to anyone who is hungry. The soup kitchen is open to everyone, no questions asked, no judgement. Everyone is welcome!
