Prescription for Health: Lifestyle Support Services - Healthy Families BC

A phone-based service that assists patients to achieve lifestyle change goals.
As part of the Prescription for Health program, participating patients may be referred to free-of-charge telephone-based lifestyle support services to assist patients in achieving their individual lifestyle change goals.
Support services include:
  • Physical Activity Services - for advice to get people moving: Call 8-1-1 or visit Health Link BC
  • Dietitian Services: Call 8-1-1 or visit Health Link BC
  • QuitNow - Tobacco cessation: Call 1-877-455-2233 or visit QuitNow
  • Self-management programs: Call 1-866-902-3767 or visit Self Management BC
  • Bounce Back program - to reclaim your health: Call 1-866-639-0522 or visit Bounce Back
