Provided by Squamish Helping Hands

Provides meals to those in need living in Squamish.
Squamish Helping Hands offers the following services:
  • Under One Roof Food Hub: A community hood hub that provides a shared and centralized location from which to provide all food services to the community.
  • The Market: Formerly known as the food bank, the Market is a new grocery-store style experience created to make healthier food more available to the community, de-stigmatize the use of food banks and reduce food waste. Food at the market is available at no cost.
  • Food4Kids: School Lunches: The school Lunch program provides approximately 450 lunches per week to elementary and high school students in local schools.
  • Hot meal service: Provides those in need with two healthy meals per day on a drop-in basis, seven days a week. Lunch is served daily from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, and Dinner is served daily from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM.
  • Food-to-go Meals: The program provides participants with two meals. Whether it’s two for you, two for a friend or two for later, take two to go and know your next meal is on us. Food to Go is accessible to all community members regardless of age or any other possible barrier.
  • Community Food Hamper Program: Program ensures food is available for those who face barriers in getting to the new Market at Under One Roof.
